It’s always nice to have an excuse to switch things up every now and again.
After rocking the Twenty Twenty-One theme for years (mainly to get used to the WordPress Block Editor) I thought it was high time to change themes to one that gave me Full Site Editing capabilities. And so I made the bold choice to install — wait for it — Twenty Twenty-Five.
*audible collective gasps*

While I went with most of the available presets, I did customize a few things namely:
- The content width and wide width.
- The fonts (Rubik and Nunito).
- The available font sizes.
- The site header and footer.
- The default templates for single posts, single pages and archives.
- A new template specific to Status Updates.
I did encounter a problem downloading the theme files with my changes. It worked once but hasn’t again instead preferring to tell me an error occurred.
I think I’d like to update my site logo too, make it a bit darker to match the rest of the website. I’ll also need to style the Contact Form. The work is never done…
Edit (06 Apr 2025): Site logo (and site icon) have been updated.
