The concept of “Spaces” has captured my imagination as of late. I’m referring of course to the physical spaces in which life takes place but also the metaphysical “space” that comes with it. Certain environments can make us feel certain ways whether happy, motivated, agitated or upset — I’ve been thinking about how we can create spaces not just to stimulate positive inner states but to invite action and living.

Three-Quarter-Year Check-In
With almost 9 months down and a little over 3 to go, itΓÇÖs time for another check-in. IΓÇÖm doing this check-in about 6 weeks after Brunei re-introduced restrictions to combat a 2nd wave of COVID this time including the Delta variant. Things are a lot stricter than they were the first time around and tensions are running high all over the country.

The search for Rejuvenation
My nose has been running since yesterday morning, a common consequence of being “almost sick”. A combination of Chinese New Year, eating food I shouldn’t have, work and various other extra activities this week had my body calling for a time-out. I didn’t get sick but I did feel exhausted and my throat got a bit sore, a clear sign that I needed to slow things down for a spell.
